The AWS Katrineholm Project
Amazon's investment in Katrineholm is part of a multi-billion euro European cloud infrastructure expansion. The campus will house multiple data halls with state-of-the-art server infrastructure, cooling systems, and power supply facilities.
The construction phase requires a large and diverse workforce: civil engineers, structural engineers, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) specialists, project managers, safety officers, and skilled tradespeople. Following construction, the facility will employ permanent operations and maintenance staff.
Katrineholm Longstay has already hosted teams from major contractors working on this project.
Brookfield Strängnäs — 750 MW Campus Nearby
Just 40 km from Katrineholm, Brookfield Asset Management is developing a massive 750 MW hyperscale data center campus in Strängnäs. This is one of the largest planned data center investments in Europe.
Katrineholm makes an excellent base for workers on this project too — the commute is straightforward via the E20 motorway, and our apartments offer the same high-quality, long-stay comfort. Teams working across both the AWS Katrineholm and Brookfield Strängnäs projects can be accommodated together, simplifying logistics for project managers.
